DAR MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 17-99

SUBJECT    :     Granting a Final Grace Period for Acceptance of Conversion Applications
                           under DAR Administrative Order (AO) No. 1, Series of 1999, Using the
                           Prescribed Forms under AO 7, Series of 1997

In response to numerous requests and considering that Department of Agriculture (DA) Administrative Order No. 37, Series of 1999, "Revised Guidelines on the Certification of Eligibility for Reclassification of Agricultural Lands and Providing Mechanisms for the Implementation Thereof," was issued on October 4, 1999, a final grace period of up to December 31, 1999 is hereby granted for the acceptance of applications for conversion filed under AO 1, Series of 1999 using the prescribed NIA, DA, DENR and HLURB certifications under AO 7, Series of 1997, subject to verification with the issuing agencies/authorities as provided under DAR Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 9, Series of 1999.    EHaDIC

The Chief, Records Division, DAR, is hereby directed to cause the publication of this Circular in two (2) newspapers of national circulation for the information and guidance of the general public.

This Memorandum Circular amends Section 1.3 of MC 9, Series of 1999 and shall take effect immediately.
